Travel Details:

Departure: Meet at Departure Bay ferry terminal at 10:15 AM. We will be walking on to catch the 10:55 AM ferry to Horseshoe Bay
Transfers: We have chartered school buses to take the team from spot to spot over the weekend. Heather Yule will be taking a vehicle over so we have a car at our disposal for shopping, emergencies and errands.

Saturday events:
Upon arrival we will travel from Horseshoe Bay to the Hollyburn Country Club where we will compete in the 2nd half of our Quad meet vs Hollyburn, Nanaimo and Squamish. Following the event Hollyburn will provide some food for the swimmers and then we will take our bus to the EconoLodge Inn and Suites on Capilano Rd in North Vancouver. Once checked in we will have a catered meal for the swimmers to top any further dinner needs they have. We have 10 swimmer rooms (3 or 4 per room) and 3 staff rooms at the hotel.

Sunday Events:
Swimmer will wake up early as we will depart to the West Vancouver Aquatic Centre at 6:05 AM for a morning time trial. We will be swimming from 6:30-8:00 AM and will swim some relays and individual events for time. Following our swim we will be heading down the road to Park Royal and will grab some breakfast for the swimmers between 9:00-10:00 AM. After breakfast we will be heading to the Capilano Suspension Bridge for some signthseeing from 10:45-12:15 and then back to the ferry to catch the 1:25 PM ferry home for a 3:05 pickup at Departure Bay.

Food Money:
Swimmers will be on their own for lunches on the ferry and breakfast Sunday morning. If your swimmer does not have a bank card and you do not want to send him/her with cash please let us know and a chaperone can take care of it for you. $50 should be more than enough. All other costs will be supported by the team travel cost (approx $180).
