10 & Under VIR Championships
We have an exiciting event for just select 10 & under swimmers from around Vancouver Island.
Host: Duncan Stingrays
Date: Saturday May 28th
Cost: Approximately $120 (included entry fees, bus travel, lunch, movie and pizza)
Travel: As long as we have at least 15 swimmers we will travel by bus. We will need a few parents to come along as chaperones. If you would like to come down to help and cheer let us know.
This meet is for qualified swimmers only. It will be a small meet exclusively for 10 & Under swimmers to give them a racing environment just for them.
Medals are awarded for 1st to 3rd place and ribbons for 4th to 8th
The meet will run in a 2 session format where the swimmers will swim 3 event in each session, for a total of 6 races plus relays.
After the morning session the host club will be providing lunch for the swimmers and the group will watch a movie in between sessions. After the afternoon session we will have pizza for the kids and then hop on the bus.
