Hollyburn Summer Invitational
End of season short course meet for swimmers to complete the season with some fast swimming. Siblings in lower groups are welcome to attend and compete as well.
They are starting the meet later in the day Saturday so we can catch a Saturday morning ferry over to Horseshoe Bay.
Saturday July 23rd and Sunday July 24th
Saturday warmup at 1:15 PM
Catch 11:05 ferry from Departure Bay
Arrive Horseshoe Bay at approx 12:50 PM
15 minute drive to Hollyburn from the ferry.
There will be 2 sessions each day.
First session will be heats for 50,100 and 200m events
Second session each day will be finals for 50 and 100m events.
Each day we start at 1:15 PM and will finish the 2nd session at around 8:30 PM
Families can stay over Sunday night and enjoy Vancouver Monday or catch a late ferry home.
Accommodation:
The North Vancouver Hotel is less than 10 minutes from the pool and has availability for the night. Current rate is $254 for the Saturday night and $189 for the Sunday night for a room with 2 queen beds.
This is planned as a 'family' travel meet. But feel free to work together to make sure all the swimmers can take part in this fun adventure to end the season.
