Sharks 12 & Under Jamboree

This is our main event of the year for our 12 & Under swimmers in squads 4-8. We will be inviting over 100 other 12 & under swimmers from around Vancouver Island to join us on a 2 day event. For both our visiting swimmers and Shark swimmers this is the biggest best swim event of the year.

Date: Saturday May 13th and Sunday May 14th 

Location: Comox Valley Aquatic Centre

Details:

• Each session swimmers will swim 3 events and a relay
• Saturday: 12:45 PM warmup, racing until around 6:00
• Sunday: 7:15 AM warmup, racing until around noon
• Sunday will also have our infamous crazy t-shirt relay
• The event will have awards and prizes for placing, best times and heat winners

Parent Volunteers: With all the swimmers coming we will also need lots of parent help. Signup is online. This is the meet to try the job you have attempted in our mini-meets and smaller meets this season. For stroke & turn, we will not be disqualifying swimmers, only warning them, so this is the best opportunity of the year to try the stroke & turn position in a low stress situation.
