SHARKS SWIM-A-THON 2025
Our annual fundraiser and team event is schedule for the weekend of April 26th and May 3rd.
The fundraising campaign is open and runs until May 31st.
THE EVENT
All swimmers are encouraged to attend. The fundraising aspect is one element of the swim-a-thon but the main event is the challenge for the kids to come out and see how far and fast they can swim within the event.
All swimmers have 2 hours to swim as many laps as they can or up to 5000m. During the event parents will count laps and cheer on their swimmer(s). We will have music playing and a pancake breakfast at the end of the swim for all swimmers.
All swimmers who sign up and take part in the event will receive their choice of a team backpack or special edition technical shirt. Swimmers will also receive a custom bag tag and we will have group prizes as well awarded.
WHEN
All swims will take place at the Sports Centre Pool
Squad 1-4 and Shark Fit Saturday May 3rd 7:00-9:00 AM
Squads 5-7 Saturday April 26th 7:00-9:00 AM
Squads 8,9 and MiniSharks will have two options, please sign up for one
Saturday April 26th 9:15 - 11:15 AM OR
Saturday May 3rd 9:15 - 11:15 AM

Prizes will be presented at our end of year BBQ in June
FUNDRAISER
The fundraiser portion will be integrated within our website this year. Each swimmer will have their own portal that can accept donations and you can customize with your own messaging. Go to your "My Account" page and on the top you will see a link the says "Active Fundraising". Click on that and you will be on a page that shows the fundraising you have done and on the top of the page it will have your swimmer(s) swim-a-thon information.
YOUR SWIMMERS SWIM-A-THON PAGE
Click on "view and manage" and that will take you to your swimmers landing page. This is the link you can send to friends and family if you are looking for support for your swimmers endeavor. You can click on "manage campaign" and from there you can customize a goal amount and welcome and thank you messages for your swimmers page.
CLUB HOME PAGE
We also have a landing page for the club that gives swim-a-thon information, totals and leaders. On your page you will see that each swimmer has a unique 8 digit number assigned to them. If you click on "Donate to the campaign" from the the club page the donor will be prompted to enter the 8 digit code and the donation will be directed to your swimmer.
