Our first multi-club swim meet of the season takes place in February as we join the other Vancouver Island clubs to take part in a virtual Vancouver Island Regional (VIR) Championships. This will be an open competition trying to include as many swimmers as possible. Our results will be combined with the other clubs and results will be published including medals for the top 3 swimmers in each event just like the real VIR Champs.
Squad 3 will be taking part by joining in on four of the racing sessions:
Tuesday February 16th, Thursday February 16th and Friday February 19th
12 & Unders from from 4:00 - 5:30 PM
13 & Overs from 5:15 - 7:15 PM
Saturday February 20th 1:00 - 4:00 PM - all swimmers
Part of the swim meet will be relays, so putting together relays will be a big part of the event. We would like to see all swimmers attending all sessions. If by any chance you cannot attend one of the sessions please make a note while signing up.
Practice will run as normal on Wednesday next week, no practice Monday due to Family Day.
